Faith in Business: Cape Pulpit Hosts a Morning of Worship and Connection
Written by gb on 7th October 2025
On Friday, 29 August 2025, Koffi Terapi at Willowbridge Shopping Centre came alive with faith, fellowship, and inspiration as Radio Cape Pulpit hosted its annual Business Breakfast. The morning brought together business owners, community leaders, and listeners in an atmosphere that blended worship, encouragement, and meaningful connection.
Station Manager Musa Jakuja opened the event by warmly welcoming the guests on behalf of the Radio Cape Pulpit team. Her greeting set a tone of gratitude and anticipation for a morning focused on both purpose and partnership.
Building Community Through Connection
The programme began with an interactive introduction session where each guest stood to briefly share about their business and background. This simple yet powerful exercise fostered an immediate sense of community and collaboration, reminding everyone that business success is strengthened through shared faith and mutual support.
Radio Cape Pulpit interns Nina, Asenam, and Eddie formed part of the welcoming team, helping guests find their seats and ensuring everyone felt at ease. Their contribution added a touch of warmth and hospitality to the start of the day.
Worship and the Word
A live worship session led by Warren Eliot and Adam Watkins filled the venue with an atmosphere of unity and reverence, preparing hearts for the messages to come.
The first speaker, Ency Letsoane, delivered a powerful message about resilience and faith. She reminded attendees that even when life feels disconnected or uncertain, peace and clarity can always be found by returning to God’s Word. “When you understand your groove, you don’t get stressed,” she shared, encouraging everyone to realign their lives with divine purpose.
The second speaker, Jacky de Lange, shared a testimony from her career in media and tourism. She recounted a time when a planned overseas trip for 40 clients was unexpectedly cancelled, leaving her unsure and anxious. Through that experience, she learned that while plans may fail, God’s control never does. Her story reminded guests that perseverance and faith go hand in hand. “We constantly have to duck and dive, not die,” she reflected.
Fellowship and Farewell
After the inspiring talks, guests enjoyed breakfast and continued to network. Conversations flowed easily, business cards were exchanged, and new partnerships began to take shape, reflecting the morning’s purpose of building both faith and community.
The event closed with heartfelt remarks from Musa Jakuja, who thanked the attendees and shared a moment of appreciation for Pieter, a long-time technical producer at the station who was moving on to new opportunities. Warm tributes from colleagues highlighted his years of service and dedication to the station’s mission.
More Than a Business Event
The Cape Pulpit Business Breakfast proved to be more than just another networking opportunity. It was a gathering of believers, business owners, and visionaries who came together to celebrate purpose, partnership, and God’s plan. As guests left, one message echoed clearly: walking in your groove means trusting God, serving others, and growing together in faith.
