Phillipine Morkel was born in Somerset West and is the youngest of four children. She has had a passion for singing from a young age, and her dreams started to realise when she dedicated her heart to the Lord in 1995.
She then released several albums, nationally and internationally, on various Christian radio stations, such as Radio Cape Pulpit 729AM and WGII Radio in Los Angeles. Most of the songs that she wrote are about life experiences.
Her heartbeat is to reach out to the community at all times. She has a passion for winning souls and telling them about the love of Jesus.
She also attended a drama course at the Joseph Stone Auditorium and performed in the musical “The King”. She has featured in several other dramas.
Her latest single, “Midnight Hour”, was released in 2019. She is not only an entertainer, but also a minister in Word and song. Phillipine emphasizes that she is fully dependant on the Holy Spirit for guidance in everything she does.
