Brad Kirsten

Apart from a few years away from radio, teaching overseas where he also voiced children’s books, Brad has inspired, uplifted and entertained listeners in South Africa and around the world.  Nearly a decade of international radio, together with his Media Training curriculum which he has presented as far afield as Nigeria, Brad has been an influencer in the industry who has also remained eager to learn.  The winner of a continent-wide award for Radio Journalism and nominated for 6 South Africa Radio Awards, as well as the #GoeieGons 2022 Excellence in Communication Award, Brad has also lent his voice to on air and online advertising and educational campaigns for top brands like Alcolin, Curro Schools, BMW, BP, Pragma, CUM Books, University of Stellenbosch Business School and more.  He has had a regular magazine column in My Faith Magazine, and online for 1Africa, and has also contributed to a  Christian Devotional published by Carpe Diem Media. He is also hoping to soon release his first children’s book.  When not on air, Brad is a family man who wants to also uplift the community through his numerous entrepreneurial ventures.  He is also an ambassador of Magdalena Huis, which for the last 118 years, has provided a safe haven for pregnant mothers and their babies.
